Traditional ju jitsu uses long and wide movements that are not in keeping with the life of our day (as today the threats are fast, immediate and simple). Soke Robert Clark gave ju jitsu a modern perspective and absorbed the ease of learning it and applying the principles of self-defense. One of the latest honors that he has been awarded is that of "Knight of the Order of the Roman Eagle", on May 3, 2008.
