“THE JU JITSU IS ONLY A HALF” Robert Clark

Ju-Jitsu, the ancient martial art of the Samurai, certainly the art of knowing how to defend oneself, but also a means of getting to know each other and getting to know others.
A means, with which modern man is able to confront, both inside and outside himself, a means, which slowly filters into the deepest part of our personality and manifests itself whenever its presence is needed, both in the moment of danger and in the moments when it becomes essential to transmit certain fundamentals to others.
Through the gestures of the movements, and the search for technical improvement, we learn to know ourselves and our physical limits, which are essential to the mental ones.
In fact, based on the principle that Ju-Jitsu, first of all, is a psycho-motor discipline, until we learn to manage our body, we will never have the stability, nor the balance, much less the mental capacity, to reaction to an assault.
For this it is necessary that each of us learn from himself, through the "medium", these concepts, which will form the basis for good individual growth.

Achieving important results and goals is by no means easy, because just like life that confronts us every day, new obstacles to overcome, so Ju-Jitsu constantly presents us with the bill, stimulating us to improve, interacting with it, pouring instinctively in everyday life, that positive spirit that allows us to better face our days.

In fact, Ju-Jitsu is practiced in a collective context, exchanging the roles of attack and defense, thus perceiving both the passive action of aggression and the active one on a psychic and physical level, thus forming an absolutely personal and complete path.

Therefore, it is essential to become familiar with all those positive, negative and limit aspects, and learn to master them; such as the fear of getting hurt, the fear of falling or even the fear of being with other people.

Our instinctive aggression, for example, if channeled at the right moment in the right direction, turns into a positive form of reaction energy, effective in dangerous situations, but all this must be discovered, analyzed and absolutely managed.

Ju-Jitsu is much more, it is also a mirror to recognize our strengths and weaknesses, it gives you that humility to be able to learn from everything and everyone, because we continuously learn from everything and everyone. But, the "means" is also an excellent opportunity to socialize, in fact, strong bonds are created that go outside the Tatami, sometimes even outside cities or countries, creating real friendships, which sometimes last years, even if the meetings between the parties occur rarely or only in stage contexts, but always with deep respect and admiration on both sides.
